Ordering and delivery

Where do you get your photographs framed?

All orders are produced by a local gallery situated in the beautiful beach town and heart of Cronulla.

Local & Yonder gallery (previously known as ‘Shire Art House’) is established and owned by talented father & son photographers, Tony and Kiah Rea who take great pride in their art of photography and possess excellent attention to detail in order to provide high quality products for the owner.

The printing process starts with every print being prepared to optimise print quality. Colour and resolution are assessed with every print to give you the best quality available.

Using the latest technology from Epson they are able to print in stunning resolution on media that gives you the best quality archival prints available.

Each image whether on canvas or paper is professionally framed. The artwork is custom made using the best quality mouldings and timber.

I have made an order, however I want to make changes (i.e delivery address, product itself). What do I do?

Please email info@amymercerphotography.com as soon as possible.

Note: If the print has not yet been printed, I can make changes. If the print is done, I can only make changes to the frame. If your order has been printed and framed, I cannot make any changes.

I haven’t received my order yet. What's wrong?

Shipping information can be found here in regards to your order. Please note that delivery times differ due to location and the type of product you purchased. Please feel free to email me at info@amymercerphotography.com for any updates about your order.

Please note the production process of your order may be completed sooner or longer (no more than 10 business days) depending on the workload at the gallery.

Pick-up is free of charge and available at Local & Yonder gallery located in the Cronulla Mall, shop 17a/17-19 Cronulla Street

How much is shipping?

  • $80 Heavy Goods Delivery - Large framed prints (100cm x 75cm and higher)

Prints will be delivered via Australia Post. Framed prints will be delivered via Courier.

Do you ship worldwide?

Shipping is available for prints/rolled canvases only. Flat rate of AUD$50 for delivery applies.

Packaging

The packaging that the framed prints are transported in is custom fit and built specifically to protect the artwork during shipping.

Products

Framed Glass Print

  • The paper used is archival cotton rag 260gsm.
  • Custom cut anti-glare, non-reflective glass is installed in the frames.
  • Frames are sustainable plantation which measure: 40mm wide and 20mm on the face side.
  • All prints come standard with a 50mm white border, unless specified otherwise.
  • Hand-framed with sustainably sourced Australian Timber and constructed from scratch with pride in the Sutherland Shire.
  • Pre-installed string or D rings (depending on size); arrives ready to hang.

Canvas Floating Frame

  • The canvas used is 310gsm museum grade premium light weight canvas.
  • There is a 5mm space (shadow line) between the frame and print which provides the floating illusion and helps the canvas print truly stand out.
  • Stretched to a wooden 30mm x 30mm stretcher mounted to a shadow box floating frame.
  • Frames are sustainable plantation pine which measure: 40mm wide and the face side measuring 15mm wide (including the 5mm spacing).
  • Hand-framed with sustainably sourced Australian Timber and constructed from scratch with pride in the Sutherland Shire.
  • Pre-installed string or D rings (depending on size); arrives ready to hang.

Paper Print

  • Chromajet Art Solvent Smooth Cotton Rag Bright White Paper 260gsm
  • Paper print has 10mm white border (Enquire to change)

Canvas Print

  • Eclipse Premium Solvent Canvas Light Weight 310gsm
  • Canvas print edges are mirrored by default (Enquire to change)
  • Benefits: Incredible durability and longevity, crisp and vivid colours, gives character to digital art

Acrylics

  • High quality, glossy, 4.5mm thick framing grade acrylic with built in 94% UV resistance it will help maintain the impressive colours for years to come.
  • There is 2mm thick acrylic backing to finish off the piece which ensures stability and rigidity against warping, seals and protects image from damage and prevents light from passing through the image which improves colour vibrance.

Printer

  • The printer used is an Epson SureColor S80600 wide format solvent inkjet printer
  • Inks used are Epson UltraChrome GS3

Other Products

Other products that can also be purchased manually & made to order include wall decals, mugs, keyrings, coffee table photobooks, towels, puzzles and calendars.

How do I hang my artwork?

All images come pre-fitted with either string or D-rings (depending on the size). You will just need to have nails or hooks ready on your wall.

Custom Orders

Do you do custom orders?

Yes I do. If you have any enquiries in regards to sizes, acrylic prints, wall decals, panoramas, bulk orders etc please email me at info@amymercerphotography.com

Can I make changes to a photograph? For example Black & White?

Of course! Please fill out the enquiry form on the Contact page or email me at info@amymercerphotography.com and provide as much detail as possible on what you would wish for your desired print. I will email you back with a variety of choices. Once you’re happy with your choice, I will make a manual order of your purchase. Additional fees may apply.

Can I get an aerial photograph of a certain location?

If you do have a certain place in mind that you would love to hang on your wall that is sentimental value to you around Sydney or along the coast of New South Wales, please contact me at info@amymercerphotography.com.

Otherwise, you can always double check my instagram page @amymercer.photos if there is a photograph I have posted at your desired location. Most of my photographs that are posted on my Instagram are made to order and are on the website. However, if you cannot see your image on the website, please send an email to me with the screenshot of the image attached and any other relevant notes you may have.

I want to add text to my photograph with a personal message/date/location/names etc. Can I do that?

Of course! Before purchasing your photograph, please send me an email to info@amymercerphotography.com with your desired text. I will send you a few designs to choose from. Once picked, I will manually put your order in. Please note there will be an additional charge of $20 for text design.

Do you sell digital prints?

No. We do not sell digital prints to print artwork.

Home Consults: I like a few photographs but I am not too sure on the size or which one to choose. Can you help?

Of course! We can organise a home consultation within 15km of Cronulla free of charge. Alternatively, we also offer digital mock-ups of your room with the photograph and chosen frame colour for you to get a better idea on how it looks in your home!

Please send photographs that are front on, levelled and has plenty of natural light (no harsh yellow tones) plus wall and nearby furniture measurements to info@amymercerphotography.com

 I’m interested to get photographs/videos taken of me. Can you do that?

Absolutely! If you live in the Georges River/Sutherland Shire area, we can organise a date & time suited best for you. This can involve surfing, boating, portraits etc.

Replacements & Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

Due to the nature of made to order products and not stocking inventory of the items, return or exchange (including change of mind) cannot be guaranteed. Refunds can occur only if your order has not shipped yet. Please make sure you check your order email confirmation and you have purchased the correct item/s.

Quality Assurance

Damaged in Delivery

The packaging that the framed prints are transported in is custom-fit and built specifically to protect the artworks as much as possible during their time in transit. In the unlikely event of the artwork being damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to organise your replacement. 

We request that you provide photos of:

– All external damage to the package 

– Damages sustained to the product
